This episode of Everyday Prayers Podcast centers on Hebrews 10:19–25 and the invitation to step into the “new and living way” made possible through Jesus. In a season marked by change—a new year and the arrival of a new baby for my family—the tension between God’s unchanging nature and His continual work of renewal comes into focus. God is steady, immovable, and faithful, yet He is also always doing something new.
Scripture reminds us that these truths are not opposites, but a beautiful both/and. As Isaiah 43:19 declares, God is making a way in the wilderness, even as He remains the same yesterday, today, and forever. Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, the curtain has been torn, and we are invited to draw near to God with confidence, full assurance of faith, and hearts made clean. We are encouraged to hold fast to hope, trust in God’s faithfulness, and live transformed lives.
As we step into a new year, the invitation is clear: remain rooted in the unchanging God while staying open to the new work He wants to do in us. Drawing near to Him, encouraging one another, and embracing His “new and living way” is how we faithfully move forward—together.
