A Prayer for Love that is Patient

In this episode of the Everyday Prayers Podcast, we reflect on 2 Peter 3:9 and the incredible patience of God, who desires that no one would perish but that all would come to repentance.

Through seasons of mentorship, motherhood, and surrender, God reveals Himself not just as Savior for eternity, but as a loving presence in everyday life.

Jesus’ parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15 beautifully illustrates God’s heart—one filled with compassion, patience, and open arms for His children. Like the father who runs to welcome his lost son home, God waits for us with love, never forcing us, always inviting us.

God is patient with our growth and calls us to extend that same grace to others and to ourselves as He continues His work in us.

To keep the love theme going, sign up to receive “Loving in the Everyday,” five emails that will dive deeper into God’s love and the many ways we can reflect that love in our home and to our neighbors.
