Today’s passage tells us that when we rush to anger, we are exalting foolishness. You know what it looks like. You’ve got a busy day planned, but if everything goes right, you can get it done. Your 11-year-old picks just that time to have one of those preteen meltdowns. He or she starts throwing around accusations. “You don’t love me. You don’t care about me. You don’t understand me!” It’s hard not to lose your temper. That’s when it’s critical to stop and remember what’s really important.
