A Prayer for God to Remember Your Son

APPLE PODCASTS    †     SPOTIFY

Despite our best efforts, our boys will mess up. They’ll say and do the wrong thing, make us look like bad moms, and hurt our feelings. At times they’ll make us wonder if we did anything right at all, and in those times, the enemy, who is just as real for us as he is for our sons, will try to beat us down. It might sound something like this, “You’re a failure everything you’ve worked so hard for tried so hard to do well has failed you’ve dedicated your entire life to this boy, believing God would show up and now look it wasn’t enough. It’s over. Everything was a lie and there is no hope.” I know that might sound harsh but I write those words authentically because it’s what the voice of the enemy sounds like in my own ears.
