One of the hardest things to do as a mom is watch your baby, regardless of age, struggle. It is our nature to want to fix it and take away the pain. We want to kiss the boo-boo and make it better.ββββββββ

But maturity in Christ requires growth through struggle.ββββββββ
ββββββββ
Scripture tells us clearly that we will have trouble (John 16:33)β¦ββββββββ
ββββββββ
We are to rejoice in suffering (Romans 5:3)β¦ββββββββ
ββββββββ
Count it all joy when we encounter trials (James 1:2)β¦ββββββββ
ββββββββ
Why?ββββββββ
ββββββββ
Because ββ¦affliction produces endurance, endurance produces proven character, and proven character produces hope.β (Romans 5:3-4).ββββββββ
ββββββββ
I want my sons to have endurance, to be men of character, and to have the hope that God will move on their behalf because theyβve seen Him do it before. ββββββββ
ββββββββ
That kind of maturityβthe creation of wisdomβcomes through struggle. How can they trust God with their future if they’ve never seen Him come through for them in the past?ββββββββ
ββββββββ
So my prayer today (a like or share if itβs yours too?) is that God would turn the struggles my kids currently face into hard earned wisdomβ¦the kind that will make them warriors for His Kingdom.ββββββββ
ββββββββ
Andβ¦for momβs heart to fully trust God while Iβm watching it happen ;)ββββββββ
ββββββββ
Amen?ββββββββ
ββββββββ
Amen. ββββββββ
ββββββββ
Y’all, this is right out of my own prayer journal. I feel you on this one.βββββββββββββββ
