This one is for the moms of teens and young adults who are wondering if all they’ve poured into their kids over the years will be enough. Who see the taillights coming faster than they’d like, and have to push down the desire to cram every last little bit of parenting in before they go.

A reminder:
I know we birthed them.
I know we’ve poured ourselves out for them.
I know we’ve prayed and begged the Lord to work through them.
But it was God Who started the good work in them.
And no matter what comes, or where life takes them, HE will finish that good work (Philippians 1:6).
Say it in faith with me today, friends. If God started it, He will finish it.

I love this. You’re right, we want to be in control and we want a formula for raising kids that love Jesus and there just isn’t one. But surrendering it all to God and seeking Him to work in them and through me is why my boys are walking with God. Thank you for encouraging moms to pray! So well done.
