A Prayer for Your Son to Use His Words for Good

The tension in the gym that evening was palpable. The junior varsity basketball game had been chippy the entire four quarters, and the score reflected two teams who had worked hard, neither of whom wanted to lose. My son loves basketball, and he isn’t usually a player who gets a lot of fouls called against him. But this game was a different story. It had been so physical that toward the end, most of the players on both sides of the ball were on the verge of fouling out. And if I remember correctly, at least one of our starters already had.
