Recently, we were at the beach on family vacation when my husband, my daughter, and my niece were working on building a super tall sandcastle. The girls are three years old and were trying to figure out the art to building a sandcastle. They would work so hard packing the sand into the buckets and leveling it out on the top to turn it over only for it to collapse. They were getting so frustrated, so my husband asked them if they would like some help, to which they reluctantly agreed.
He began to level out the sand on which they were building, trying to make a flat area where the castle could be constructed. And as they worked and worked on this sand castle, this teaching from Jesus floated across my mind.
